Teramoto Enga (寺本婉雅)

Enga TERAMOTO (1872 - 1940), born in Kaito-gun, Aichi Prefecture, was a priest of Higashi Hongan-ji Temple and the third Japanese who entered Tibet.

Teramoto entered Batang with Yutaka NOMI but couldn't go further, so they turned back.

1904
Teramoto arrived at Lhasa.

1908
Teramoto met the 13th Dalai Lama at Mt. Wutai Shan with William Woodville Rockhill and Sonyu OTANI.
