Fushimi Momoyama Athletic Park (伏見桃山城運動公園)

Fushimi Momoyama Athletic Park is located in Momoyama-cho, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. It occupies a land area of approx. 91,000 square meters.

History
In the past, the Fushimi Momoyama Castle Land stood on this site, but the amusement park closed in 2003. At that time, it was planned to destroy the imitation castle tower, but the tower has remained at the request of local residents. Kyoto City then began to convert the area into an athletic park from 2004, and it opened on April 1, 2007.

Access
Take the Kintetsu Kyoto Line or the Keihan Main Line of the Keihan Electric Railway: Get off at Tanbabashi Station and walk for approx. 1 km to the east.

Take the Nara Line of JR West: Get off at Momoyama Station and walk for approx. 1 km to the north-east.

Parking lots are available on the premises.
