Genchi (玄智)
Genchi was a priest of Daian-ji Temple in the Nara period.
Summary
In March 751, he received a series of fourteen volumes of "Niepan-jingshu." In April 753, he attended Ninno-e (a ceremony to pray for the peace of the country by lecturing Ninno scriptures) held at Daian-ji Temple as a lecturer.
