Kurushima Michimochi (久留島通用)

Michimochi KURUSHIMA (year of birth unknown - November 7, 1704) is a successor of the Mori Domain of Bungo Province. He is the third son of Yasuteru WAKISAKA, the lord of the Tatsuno Domain, Harima Province. Commonly known as Oribe.

He was adopted by Michimasa KURUSHIMA in 1703, and had an audience with Tsunayoshi TOKUGAWA. However, he died young in 1704 without taking over as head of the family. Instead of him, Michitaka KURUSHIMA was adopted from the Tottori Domain, Inaba Province.
