Shindo Nagasada (進藤長定)

Nagasada SHINDO (1608 - June 26, 1675) was aozamurai (young samurai of lower rank) in the early Edo period. He served as Shodaibu (aristocracy lower than Kugyo) in the Konoe family. His official court rank was Chikugo no kuni no Kami (a chief of provincial governors in Chikugo). He mostly served the Konoe family for three generations, Nobuhiro KONOE (the eighteenth head of the Konoe family), Hisatsugu KONOE (the nineteenth head of the Konoe family) and Motohiro KONOE (the twentieth head of the Konoe family).

He was a son of Nagashige SHINDO. He had an older sister, a wife of Yoshinobu OISHI. He got married with a daughter of Yoshikatsu OISHI (a great-grandfather of Yoshio OISHI) and had two children, Nagafusa SHINDO and 宣盛 SAITO (an adopted child of the Saito family). He died in 1675. He died at the age of 68.
