Ogimachisanjo Saneyoshi (正親町三条実有)
Saneyoshi OGIMACHISANJO (1588 - August 17, 1633) was a Kugyo (a top court official) from the late Azuchi-Momoyama to the early Edo period. He was a retainer of the Imperial Court who served three generations: Emperor Goyozei (107th), Emperor Gomizunoo (108th), and Empress Meisho (109th), and his highest official court rank was Shonii (Senior Second Rank) Gon Dainagon (provisional chief councilor of state). His father was Gon Chunagon (a provisional vice-councilor of state) Kiminaka OGIMACHISANJO. His mother was the daughter of Gon Dainagon Haresuke KAJUJI. His children were Sangi (councilor) Kintaka OGIMACHISANJO and Sangi Saneaki SHOGIMACHI-SANJO. He had a daughter who was the wife of Gon Dainagon Hirosuke HINO. His original name was Sanesuke.
He was ennobled in 1594. After that, he became jiju (chamberlain), Ukone no shosho (Minor Captain of the Right Division of Inner Palace Guards), Awa no Gon no suke (Provisional Assistant Governor of Awa Province), Ukone no chujo (Middle Captain of the Right Division of Inner Palace Guards), and Kurodo no to (Head Chamberlain) and finally became Sangi in 1612 to rank with Kugyo. After that, he became Gon Chunagon and Toka no sechie Geben (a Kugyo who supervised many matters outside Jomei Gate at Toka no sechie - Imperial Court Ceremonies) and was finally assigned to Gon Dainagon. He was assigned as Dazai no gon no sochi (Provisional Director of Dazaifu (Kyushu branch government)) in 1628.
