Kazanin Tadasada (花山院忠定)

Tadasada KAZANIN (November 22, 1379 - September 15, 1416) was a kugyo (court noble) who lived during the Muromachi period. He mainly served two emperors, Emperor Gokomatsu (the 100th) and Emperor Shoko (the 101st), and advanced to Gon Dainagon (provisional chief councilor of state) at the rank of Shonii (Senior Second Rank). His father was Michisada KAZANIN, Udaijin (minister of the right). Mochitada KAZANIN, naidaijin (minister of the interior), was his son. He was named Tadatoshi initially.

In 1396, he was awarded Jusanmi (Junior Third Rank), becoming a kugyo. After that, he became Gon Dainagon in 1402, after assuming Owari gon no kami (a provisional governor of Owari Province) and Gon Chunagon (a provisional vice-councilor of state). Although having assumed Ukone no daisho (major captain of the right division of inner palace guards) additionally in 1416, he died in the same year. Died at the age of 38.
