Kenbutsu-ji Temple (見仏寺)

Kenbutsu-ji Temple, located at Uda City in Nara Prefecture, is the temple of Nichiren Shoshu sect of Buddhism. Its sango (literally, "mountain name"), which is the title prefixed to the name of a Buddhist temple, is Isshinsan.

Origin and history

The temple was erected on March 10, 1981.
The kaiki (patron of a temple in its founding) is Nikken Shonin who is the 67th head priest of Nichiren Shoshu Taiseki-ji Temple,
