The 49 Temples of Kansai Yakushi Pilgrimage (西国薬師四十九霊場)

The 49 Temples of Kansai Yakushi Pilgrimage consists of 49 sacred places enshrining images of Yakushi Nyorai (the Healing Buddha) in Osaka Prefecture, Hyogo Prefecture, Kyoto Prefecture, Shiga Prefecture, Nara Prefecture, Wakayama Prefecture, and Mie Prefecture. It was formed in 1989.
